Cauliflower Breadsticks

These low carb breadsticks taste fresh, garlicky, and cheesy just like an amazing garlic bread smothered in a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. There is a hint of cauliflower flavor, but it certainly doesn’t overwhelm.

Low Carb Cauliflower Breadsticks with fresh herbs, garlic, and lots of ooey gooey cheese atop a cauliflower crust looks and tastes like cheesy bread.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 head cauliflower raw
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese shaved
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic minced
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh basil chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh Italian flat-leaf parsley chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Rice the cauliflower through coring it and breaking it into florets. Then region it within the bowl of a food processor and pulse till it's far the texture of rice. (in case your cauliflower seems excessively moist, squeeze the riced, uncooked cauliflower in a paper towel to assist do away with moisture.)
- In a big bowl, blend the riced cauliflower, 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese, half of cup Parmesan cheese, 1 egg, 1/2 tablespoon clean garlic, half of tablespoon clean basil, half tablespoon sparkling parsley, 1 teaspoon salt, and half of teaspoon black pepper till combined and holds together. place the combination onto the coated baking sheet and spread out right into a rectangle about 9x7" and 1/4" thick.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. put off from oven and pinnacle with three/four cup shredded Mozzarella cheese and return to oven to maintain baking until the cheese is melted and beginning to brown. Cool about 10 minutes and cut into 'breadsticks'. Garnish with fresh herbs and Parmesan cheese. Serve along with your preferred red Sauce and enjoy!
