Apple Bread made from scratch with butter, sugar & fresh apple. Tastes amazing topped with a cinnamon streusel & drizzled with warm vanilla glaze.

Apple Bread is some thing i really like any time of the day. I’ve always cherished it! i've at the least 4 recipes I’ve written already which might be comparable however i've to say, this one is my favourite! This apple bread has the fine flavor and an almost pound-cake like texture- you won’t be capable of forestall consuming it.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup softened butter (1 cube)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups diced peeled green apple
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Topping:
- 5 TBSP cold butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 TBSP granulated sugar
- 2 TBSP brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Vanilla Glaze: (Whisk all ingredients together until smooth. Set aside.)
- 1 TBSP melted butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 TBSP milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 tiers F. Line a bread pan with parchment paper or spray with non-stick cooking spray. (i take advantage of a ten″ bread pan but this recipe works in a general 8″ pan as properly. The bakes bread will simply be taller.)
- Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. upload in eggs, milk and vanilla and stir to comprise. blend in flour, salt and baking powder. Fold in apples and nuts. transfer combination to prepared baking pan.
- For topping, integrate all substances and mix with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter in pan.
- Bake for 55-60 mins, till toothpick inserted in bread comes out easy. (internal temperature of bread might be two hundred tiers F whilst absolutely cooked.)
